Cucumbers, often served as a complement to nasi lemak. Although low-calorie, easily available and affordable, cucumbers have a variety of good properties for our body. 

Let us look at some of the properties of cucumber: –

1. Hydrating

It is estimated that water content in cucumber is about 90%. So, for women who are too busy with their daily chores or those who don’t like to drink plain water to meet the required daily dose, eating cucumber will help hydrate the body.

Fluid present in cucumber acts as an eliminator that will get rid of all the toxins from your body. 

3. Daily Vitamin Dose

Cucumbers contain vitamins A, B and C that help increase the body’s immune system, improve radiance and give you energy. More nutritious when the cucumber juice is added with a mixture of spinach and carrots. Make sure you do not throw the cucumber skin because it contains about 12% of your daily vitamin C needs. 

4. Reduce Swollen Eyes

Placing cold cucumber slices on the eyes can help reduce puffiness under the eyes.

When blended with carrots and drink as juice, it can relieve gout and arthritis pain by reducing levels of uric acid.
